Now, this is experimental! The material is composed of sand mixed with acrylic medium. While still damp, it was cut into various shapes and thicknesses and then placed, as a brick mason, in concentric circles. As it dried it became hard and firm as concrete. To complete it, it was painted with acrylic paint to resemble the sun with its powerful, warm, pulsating rays. This piece of art is practically indestructable.
