I must admit that this is not my workbench. Mine is messier! I got the germ of an idea for this painting approximately 20 years ago and I made, right then, a black and white sketch of it and promptly put it in my file of sketches. I check the file once in a while when my mind dries out for a painting idea and on this latest occasion it hit me to paint it. It's composed of old bottles and cans you may recall. I have a bunch of them around the studio as well as some old tools my wife's grandfather gave me. Hanging in the upper right is my first SC license plate from 1952.    Ray
