Please accept our apologies but we no longer accept credit cards; however, we do accept personal and business checks as
well as Postal Money Orders.
May I order by EMail?
We suggest that you order by EMail so that we may figure the S/H cost and get back to you as soon as we know the total. When we receive payment, we will ship the artwork without delay via Priority
Do you accept commissions?
Yes, we are increasing our acceptance of commissions. If you would like to find out what it would cost for your special painting, please
send an Email describing what you have in mind as far as what you would like in the painting, and the size, if known. Once we have figured
the cost, we will get back to you with the price and possibly a few questions. We do require a down payment of one half of the cost before
we begin painting. The balance, plus shipping is to be paid before the painting is shipped. Shipping will be Priority Mail or UPS depending
on the size. The painting will be oil on stretched canvas, unframed. Sorry, but we don't paint portraits.
How long does it take to get my order?
The matting and framing of our artwork is custom built as we receive the orders. Generally for our framed and matted Prints and Cast Paper you will receive your order within 3 to 15 business days from the day we receive the order. Should there be a delay we will notify you by Email. Our large Original Paintings are shipped via UPS and the smaller ones by USPS Priority. There is a little more care taken here as a painting is much more fragile and it is the original. For more detailed information please see ‘Original Paintings’. A shipping notice will also be sent to the same Email address when the shipment leaves our premesis.
Do you have an installment plan to buy an original painting?
To make things easier, we use an installment plan for buying our original paintings. This is how it works. Write or email us at email@example.com and tell us the painting or paintings you have selected, the Item Numbers, your name, shipping address, and phone number. With a down payment of 25% (check or money order) of the price of the painting(s), we will hold them for you for up to 12 months. You make your payments to suit your budget and as soon as you have paid the full amount of the artwork and S & H within the 12 months, we will ship the art. It's a simple as that. Should you decide not to purchase, we will refund all you have paid over and above your down payment.
May I order by phone?
Yes you may order directly by phone, 803-481-2604 between the hours of 9am and 5pm, Monday through Friday, Eastern Time. We can answer any questions you may have at the same time.
What is your return policy?
Art that has not been damaged may be returned within 7 days after delivery for a full refund less the shipping costs. You pay the shipping costs for any returns. Upon receipt of the items received intact we will issue your credit. All items must be returned to Ray Davenport Studio, 274 Keels Road, Sumter SC 29154. If any damage occurs during transit to you please make a claim with the carrier.
What if an item is not available?
If you receive an Email stating that an item is not available it will be because that it is either sold or the edition has been sold out. Should that occur we will ask if you prefer an alternate item that we may substitute or you may wish to cancel.
How may I know the S & H charges if an order is to be shipped outside the U.S.?
The shipping and handling charges listed are for orders shipped within the U.S. When you wish to order and it is to be shipped outside the U.S., please call or Email us before ordering and we will get back to you with the S/H charges.
