DR. KING'S CORDIAL -SOLD-

This was indeed, a fun painting to paint. It was painted from an old bottle that I found, an original diarrhea cure, bottled in Charlotte, NC by Burwell & Dunn Co, druggists. On the label, "A certain cure for Dysentery, Flux, Cholera Morbus, Cholora Infantum and kindred diseases." We all need that, don't you think? I selected it for a painting because of the bottle design, label, the piece of cork stopper still firmly stuck inside and its age (?).     Ray
