Occasionally I paint a Charleston scene. They seem to have a calming effect on me, both painting and looking at it hanging. Does it have that effect on you also? I feel the warm sun, while gathering in the visual interest. Charleston has so many painting ideas to offer that if I stayed there too long I'd be hooked. I think my subject matter is OK the way it is. How do you like the gargoyle ornament atop the wall? See what I mean?     Ray
